In the era of digital transformation, artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as one of the most advanced and influential technologies, creating fundamental changes in legal systems. This study aims to analyze and examine the advantages, limitations, opportunities, and challenges of implementing AI in the field of law. To this end, it first clarifies the theoretical concepts and technical aspects of AI and then explores its impact on legal structures and functions. The results of the study indicate that the use of AI in the legal field, while increasing the speed and accuracy of information processing and enhancing the efficiency of the judicial system, can significantly assist in optimizing judicial processes, analyzing cases, and accessing legal resources. However, challenges such as ambiguity in determining the personality and legal responsibility of intelligent systems, the inability to understand abstract and value-based concepts, algorithmic bias risks, and cyber threats emphasize the need to review existing legal frameworks. This article, using a descriptive-analytical approach and relying on theoretical and comparative sources, identifies legislative gaps and offers suggestions for developing comprehensive and responsible regulations for the use of AI in the field of law.
