The axis of resistance acts as an important force that challenges Western imperialism and shapes the political landscape of West Asia. Türkiye, as an important regional player, has been affected by this trend. The axis of resistance, consisting of various governmental and non-governmental actors in the Middle East, plays a decisive role in confronting the hegemony of the West and supporting antiimperialist struggles in the Middle East region. The question of the current research is how to explain the different mentality of Turkish leaders about the nature and objectives of the resistance axis. The hypothesis acknowledges that research on popular resistance and leadership attitudes in the context of Turkey’s EU accession highlights Turkey’s stance on resistance and regional dynamics. In general, the participation and attitudes of the Turkish leadership reflect a different approach to regional resistance movements and alliances. The current research is applied and compiled with a qualitative-interpretive method and a descriptive-analytical approach. The findings of the research show that it is necessary to know the different personalities and mentality of leaders about various issues at the regional and international levels. In this article, an attempt has been made to examine the position of the axis of resistance and the perception of Turkish leaders about the form of activism of the axis of resistance, the difference in mentality in the eyes of the leaders of the main players in the Middle East regarding this axis.
